Celebrating a Day of Caring in Downtown Seymour

Day of Caring was a huge success in Downtown Seymour today, we now have 54 newly painted trash cans and beautiful flowers planted in our pots through out the downtown.

We could not have done it without volunteers from Cummins Engine plant who painted all of them, The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department who moved all the cans from the downtown, and the Seymour Fire Department for letting us use their space.

These newly refurbished cans will match the new benches that we are in the process of re-doing downtown. We are thrilled about another improvement to our historic downtown and grateful for our volunteers and help from city employees!
