A new Fitness Court will be opening very soon in downtown Seymour. The Fitness Court is sponsored by Seymour RotaryHealthy Jackson County, and Schneck Medical Foundation.

This Fitness Court will feature all kinds of different body weight training stations that are appropriate for ALL fitness levels and age groups!

Another exciting feature of this court is there is a Fitness Court App. If you download the Fitness Court App. to your mobile device you will have access to free ready made workouts, information about how to do the different exercises, and music to go along with all of the workout!

All of this is free and open to the community! Download the App and get familiar with the format and be ready for opening day of the new Fitness Court in the Crossroads Community Park!

Starting this weekend Koverner’s Korner Ice Cream will be available at Bullwinkle's Family Restaurant downtown Seymour.

Bullwinkle's already carries a wide variety of options including pizza, taco salad, wraps, and homemade lattice chips and now they will be collaborating with one of our local favorite ice cream shops to bring you a yummy desert after your lunch or dinner.

Crossroads Community Park is located on Tipton across from the grain silos and this Thursday will be our very first event in the brand new venue!

The Pines and Chillicen will be set up with snacks and food for purchase at 6:00 pm and then Jake Dodds will take the stage at 6:30 for this free concert! Just bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on and your dancing shoes!

Jake is a native Hoosier and does hundreds of shows all over the United States every year. He is a country artist who plays great covers from all era’s and also original songs he has written. Jake is sure to be a new favorite on your playlist!
