The Jingle all the 5k will be December 15th  in downtown Seymour, the run will start and stop in the downtown and each participant will get set of jingle bells for their shoes, and then at the end of the run, they will receive a Jingle all the 5k sock hat with logo, and a lanyard with a Downtown Discount card. We will also have Santa and his elves there to greet you at the finish line.

Seymour Main Street entered the #bringthelgtomydowntown contest and won!

The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) celebrated Indiana downtowns during the inaugural Downtown Development Week from October 8 - 12.Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch came to visit downtown Seymour on Friday for the final day of downtown development week. She visited our downtown business owners and was able to see our 26 scarecrows that have been decorated by our downtown business owners. It was truly an honor and a pleasure to have her for this visit and a great grand finale for downtown development week!

Seymour Main Street is submitting an application next month for a revitalization grant of One Chamber Square. If we receive the grant we will receive notice of the funds on January 17th of 2019.

Your feedback is needed today to assist the City of Seymour and Seymour Main Street in demonstrating to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, the need and community support for the community project below.

The 11 question survey will evaluate the residential impact of streetscape improvements in the area of One Chamber Square and St. Louis Avenue continuing into Jeffersonville Avenue. The plan includes the creation of an accessible, interactive gathering area in Downtown Seymour to the north of Highway 50.
