The Magic of Books Bookstore, Seymour Main Street, the Jackson County Public Library, and the City of Seymour are excited to present another family friendly, outdoor activity for all ages this holiday season!
Jingle Book is a month-long book stroll, taking readers along the sidewalks of downtown Seymour to enjoy reading the pages of Tiny Tree by Seymour author Suzanne Hill with illustrations by Molly Hill.
From December 1st-December 31st, 18 downtown stores will display poster-size pages of the book in their storefront windows with QR codes to document your stroll. Read each page, scan the QR codes to fill out the corresponding web entry, and automatically be entered to win prizes. The winners will be drawn at random from all those who complete the stroll.
Prizes include: copies of Tiny Tree, 4 admission tickets to the Kentucky Derby Museum, and a $100 gift card to The Magic of Books Bookstore courtesy of Tim Hill. The winners will be drawn and notified on January 3rd.
New this stroll! A Spanish-translated version will also be available! Both English text and Spanish text pages will be on display.
The book strolls promote literacy, downtown Seymour, and walking in a way families can enjoy together. There is no cost for businesses or the public to participate.
