Bri Roll - Executive Director
Associated with Seymour Main Street since 2018

  • How would you describe our mission? Our mission is to promote the overall improvement of our downtown while simultaneously preserving our historic assets and stories. This means providing modern amenities and public places, attracting, and retaining quality businesses, and inspiring the restoration of our unique historic inventory.
  • What made you decide to give your first gift of time, talent, or treasure to our organization? After deciding to move back to Seymour to raise my family, it was important to me to be able to create the kind of community where my kids would want to be involved.
  • What aspects of our work interest you the most? Economic Development and Relationship Building is my favorite part of our work.
  • What is your favorite program/service/etc.? My favorite program is our annual event, Ghouls & Goblets.
  • How do you describe this organization to others? I would describe our organization as, “a volunteer driven approach to overall community transformation through economic development, historic preservation, and placemaking.”
  • What do you wish everyone knew about this cause? I wish more people knew that we are a nonprofit organization governed by its own Board of Directors. This means our organization is donation based and volunteer driven. We work hand in hand with other organizations as well as the City of Seymour to inspire downtown transformation.
